Six-sentence story

Sentence 1: Start with ‘Once upon a time’ and introduce the main character

Sentence 2: Describes where the character lived

Sentence 3: Describes where the character’s special talent

Sentence 4: Describes the character’s problem

Sentence 5: Tells why the character felt that way

Sentence 6: Tells how the character solved the problem

1. Once upon a time… there was young short man called harry he was very talented and  Skill full at soccer.

2. He lived in a bad part of America, his family was poor.

3.  He was so good and talented at soccer he is so good at getting goals

4. He wants to play in a team but he can't because he doesn’t have someone to support him and he doesn’t have  money.

5. He did feel that way because he thinks he needs money to be in a team and he does not have anyone to support him.

6. He went to a close soccer field where a lot of people play in and he played there and then one of the soccer coaches saw him play and invited him to his soccer team. And then he made it to the national team and he got a lot of  money from the games he played.

 Hi my name is Waris. I go to Pt England school in Auckland and  I am year 8. My teacher's name is Mr Moran and my classroom is room 1. I am from Myanmar and I am the second youngest of my siblings. I have two older sisters and a baby brother. My favourite subjects  are reading' writing maths but maths is hard I want to try my best to become good at maths. I love sports, especially soccer. I play soccer  every day at school and I want to become a soccer player like Messi. I like to watch horror movies and anime and I like to play video games. I like food and my favourite is sushi and KFC and kebab. and I dont like people bullying and mocking at school.

Year 5 and 6 camp

Last week Wednesday, I Went to camp. I  have been to camp before but this time I was  excited. We slept in tents on the field. my tent buddies were Connor and Austin. on Wednesday night we watched a movie  in Our Classroom on the big mat. The movie was small foot. It was funny.
